I create spaces where people can finally understand what they’re feeling — and start to move forward.
This work didn’t start professionally for me.
It started with trying to understand my own life.
I spent a long time trying to create safety in every way I knew how, in relationships, in environments, in how I showed up. And somehow, I still found myself in places that didn’t feel safe.
At some point, I stopped just trying to fix what was around me and started paying attention to what was happening underneath it all — the patterns, the reactions, the things I couldn’t quite name.
That’s really where this work began.
Over time, I realized how many people were carrying things that were never actually theirs to hold. Things that families, workplaces, and systems never named or took responsibility for.
And once you see that, you can’t unsee it.
So I started creating spaces where people could slow down, understand what’s actually going on, and begin to shift things in a way that feels real — not forced.
That led to building Safe Space Organization, a nonprofit in Central New York, and co-creating Root to Rise Retreats — both centered around connection, shared language, and growth.
Since then, my work has expanded.
Now I work with individuals, speak in rooms, and support leaders but the core of it stays the same.
Helping people understand what they’re feeling, why it’s happening, and what they can do next.
I have a Master’s degree in Education and am trained through the Carolyn Costin Institute as an eating disorder recovery coach. My work is shaped by both training and lived experience — not one or the other.
These days, my work shows up in a few different ways:
• coaching individuals through patterns, recovery, and life transitions
• working with leaders around burnout, communication, and culture
• speaking and hosting conversations that bring honesty into the room
I’ve spoken on the TEDx stage about mental health in the workplace, but the message underneath everything I do is simple:
When people feel safe, they tell the truth.
And when the truth is finally named, things can actually start to change.
